Home sweet Hamburg and Berlin calling!

Initially I planed to only blog while being abroad, so continueing is somewhat of a strange descision for me, especially as I don't actually like blogging but hey, it's kind of growing on me to talk about myself and my amazingly interesting life :D haha
ok so I don't actually know why I am keeping this public diary of what I do/did/haved done but for some weird reason I feel like continueing... so there you go read it or let it be (I think this is a first, accidentally quoting a beatles song really isn't my style)! But before I dwell on how it's been to be back I want to give you some last expressions of this beauty called Montréal:

It's been two weeks... two weeks since I've gotten on a plane and left a part of my heart in this beautiful town called Montréal!! (I think the first time I realized how serious that love affair was last weekend when I caught myself watching Formula 1 in the hope of catching a glimpse of my beloved town...)!! But as much as I miss it I have to say being back in good old Hamburg with the Alster, Harbour and all those trees (YES PEOPLE THIS IS TRUELY ONE OF EUROPE'S GREENEST CITY IT ISN'T JUST CLAIMING THAT) is very very nice, despite the horrific weather we got on this grey sunday (I feel like the weather man hasn't really gotten the concept of what SUNday actually means)!
After a rather uneventful flight (not even the notriously bitchy German security personnel) I returned to my parents garden, the local market and yummy yummy German bread – I can't believe I actually mention bread in this paragraph it's really rather sad sometimes how essential the most obscure things can be!
After three days of easing back into life back home I took off to Berlin, my future home and university! The new appartment will be on the fourth floor (NO there will be no elevator) and the new university is right in the next to a parc in the middle of a living area – I got of the bus and initially thought I had looked up wrong directions! Quite the opposite to Concordia downtown campus!
So here I am wondering how life in montréal is right now... it is still a little bit strange to me that whenever you leave a place things just continue – and i realize that the basic idea behind that is really rather egocentric and that I of course know that the world does not evolve around me, yet still I find it strange that life just goes on! and before I get too deeply involved in neurotic spirals of existentialism (my of my i think my rewatching of Annie Hall did not have positive side effects!); on that note if you haven't seen that film yet DO IT; and I don't care what you generally think of Woody Allen, Annie Hall is genious!! on that note I have to go because "there's a big lobster behind the refrigerator. I can't get it out. This thing's heavy. Maybe if I put a little dish of butter sauce here with a nutcracker, it will run out the other side"
That was it from the other side for tonight, please tune in the next time we’re on bisous Merle-Perle
p.s. I also stopped by Metropolis ;)
